I first levels use fast weapons in dual weild, like poison dagger and Runkralft Crowbar + servo booster with that you can beat almost anybody up to level 07(thanks to runfralft crowbar and gloves mechanikal spiders will be no threat). Also you should know all enemies what they do and how to fight them.įor the build, for me it's some kind Gadgeteer Dagger Maniak :D (btw I'am one of the devs), Which one need less time and F9 to beat the game? Brutal diff, ofc.įirst of all on Brutal difficulty you will be feeling that you are underpowered, its' Brutal, if you would feel like god and power spikes on Brutal what is the point of that difficulty?įor Brutal it good to know most of secrets, where you can find bonus circuit points and unique equipment. Do gagets outscale braindead LMB-builds or not? If you ask me what do I mean, talking about builds efficient. So here I need your opinion about game balance. I don't wanna say I can't play through the game, but I'm dissappointed by the fact I've never felt any power spikes, playing the most tricky build (with that absurd energy replenish system, that forces me to sit and wait till my powers recharge and I can continue my sucktrough, of course). I've beaten both LoG on the last diff with 4 mages parties, so I know how to play around something more than LMB+RMB *click-click-click*. Right now I'm at The Riddle of Steel and keep feeling I've chosen the wrong way.įor someone who might think I'm just bad and don't know how to play. I'm used to the fact that magic is something like investments: you suck early but later you unleash all of your devastating power on your enemies and outscale easy-to-pay builds. In the other words, the more I play with gageteer, the more it feels like I should've gone for dual weilding + blunt + swords and beat the game with the most easy and efficient way at the same time (that shouldn't be true if the game is balanced). More precisely, not gagets as they are, but a character, relying on their raw power, not as a supporting options. To the point, I wanna play pure 'mage' as I always do, but I feel like gagets suck. Everybody knows that most of the games are imbalanced and some things work mu-u-ch better than the other ones, just because devs spent more time with working on things they personally love.
